The WAV shield will only play .wavs formatted in a certain way. We will use Audacity for this.

Import your Sound Clip
1. Open Audacity
2. File...Import...Audio
1. Open Audacity
2. File...Import...Audio
3. Split track to Mono
4. Drop the Gain to -6dB (this prevents distortion when we merge)
5. Make sure both tracks are Mono...
6. Go to Tracks...Mix and Render
7. Set Sample Format rate to 16-bit PCM
8. In the bottom left of project window, set Project rate to 22050 Hz
9. Next you'll export that track
10. Make sure the Save As Type is WAV (Microsoft) signed 16 bit PCM
11. Make a SHORT (6 LETTERS OR LESS) FILENAME - MUY IMPORTANTE
